If you get into a QSO with K9KEJ watch out! You have heard it many times - be careful what you say in a QSO as it may come back to "get you". Such was the case with Orrin Brand (Mike Jackson is his pen name!), fisherman exstraordinaire, and famous Chicago columnist. "Hey Tom...good to meet you. Do you like to fish?" Response - "Yes, I think so but I don't get too much of a chance to go". "What kind of fishing do you like?" Response - "Fly fishing but I have not been in several years!). "How would you like to go to Costa Rica for Tarpon fly fishing?" Response - "Costa Rica, your kidding". "No, not kidding take a look at these guys!"

Mike Kallstrom - Doctor Kallstrom to his Western Kentucky U. students, is an active composer and performer, and the creator of ELECTRIC OPERA, a series of five, solo vocal works with electronic tape, puppets and videos that have been performed over 200 times in the United States and Canada for colleges and universities, festivals and concert series, public schools and churches. The first three works, You can almost always run into Mike NU4Q on 40M around 7.208 or thereabouts. He is a great ham and good friend. Stop buy Mike's web site and enjoy some of his music. Be patient during the baseball season as Mike may be more focused on the TV then the QSO. Listen to one of Mike's creations.
